Dr Goutham Sivasuthan is a highly skilled, Australian‑trained General and Endoscopic Surgeon specialising in minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and advanced endoscopic procedures. Dr Sivasuthan completed a double degree in Medicine and Biomedical Science at the University of Queensland before undertaking his medical residency at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. He went on to complete extensive General Surgery training across major Queensland hospitals—including Gold Coast University Hospital—developing advanced expertise in minimally invasive surgery, upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, and colonoscopy.

He is also an accredited endoscopist and colonoscopist with the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA). Alongside clinical practice, Dr Sivasuthan is actively involved in medical education and research. He serves as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Queensland, a Lecturer at Griffith University, and an instructor with the Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CCrISP) program across Australia and New Zealand. He has contributed multiple peer‑reviewed publications, reflecting his commitment to advancing surgical practice.
